EDF Energy receives expert Green Energy training from EEC

This month, the European Energy Centre (EEC) delivered the Electric Vehicles course to delegates from EDF Energy. The bespoke course, held at EDF Energy's Hove offices, provided the delegates with the skills they need to excel in the Electric Vehicles sector and support customers in transitioning towards this technology. The EEC is proud to promote knowledge sharing and best practice in relation to all Green Energy Technologies, and works with Leading Experts, universities and associations worldwide, including the United Nations UNEP, to distribute the latest research, information and training to individuals around the world. EEC Upskills Major Korean Power Company (KEWP) in Renewable Energy

The European Energy Centre (EEC) has been delighted to welcome the Korea East-West Power Company (KEWP) to London for a five-day Bespoke Course on Renewable Energy. The EEC was chosen by KEWP, in its capacity of being an Accredited Training Centre which works closely with United Nations Environment (UNE) to promote best practice in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. South Korea has recently developed a plan to increase the country’s use of sustainable energy. Participants from KEWP expressed that they found the EEC speaker extremely knowledgeable, and that the insight into the UK’s policies surrounding renewable energies was especially valuable.

Mundia wanted to study remotely while he was working full-time and he enrolled on the Accredited Master in Renewable Energy Award through his employer, ZESCO Ltd - an electricity utility company who supply and distribute power to the residents of Zambia.

Scottish Gas Network receives Renewable Energy training from EEC

This month, the European Energy Centre (EEC) delivered Renewable Energy training to energy distribution company SGN, as part of SGN’s goal to decarbonise the distribution of heat in the UK. SGN’s Hydrogen 100 project aims to reduce carbon output and progress towards the 2050 UK carbon target by reducing greenhouse gas emissions to 80% of 1990 levels.
