Training Courses Based on the European Project EMTEU - Energy Management Technician in Europe Green Jobs - Green Economy - Green New Deal
Important meeting at the Parliament:
To support green jobs, a green economy and the Green New Deal the EEC has created a Skills Alliance, to provide their internationally recognised Certificate to training course participants, to help them enter the green job market. (above photo on the right): the meeting lead to a Skills Alliance to support green jobs, this resulted in the 14th European Conference on Renewable Energy at Heriot-Watt University organised by the United Nations - UNEP and the European Energy Centre - EEC in January 2011. The United Nations Environment Programme and the European Energy Centre are working together with governments and universities to promote training and education in renewable energy, to help people access jobs in renewable energy.
The Skills Alliance lead by the European Energy Centre (EEC) brings together leading lecturers, course leaders and experts in the renewable energy field whose areas of expertise include: management, finance, cutting-edge technical knowledge, contracting, maintenance, system design, management, investment for renewable technology.
United Nations Summit in Bangkok launches the European Energy Centre - UNEP 14th European Conference in Edinburgh (UK), an important hub for renewable energy, where training courses take place during the months of March, April and June 2011.
